🎓𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 🎓
With Term 2 well underway we look forward to continuing to deliver our Junior Ranger Program in partnership with Windorah State School.
Our program includes both in school and on country componenets, learning about not only Indigenous history but endangered species, pests, land care and much more. All at no cost to the school.

MAC are proud to sponsor the Maiden Campdraft again this year.
Not only sponsoring community events but also volunteering many hours to a number of local community groups including P&C, RFS, SES, Bluelight, Rodeo Club and more.
We are committed to supporting our community and investing in its growth and prosperity. It's an honor to be part of Windorah Rodeo Club's biggest weekend, and we look forward to contributing to its success.
Together, we can achieve great things. Locals supporting locals!

"The award recognises the success of this community organisation in working locally, nationally and internationally to preserve culture and identity into the future"
- SLQ Memory Awards Panel.
During our recent move we found many treasures, many of which are reminders of some of our wonderful achievements in the past few years.
So, we thought we would share them here!
Mithaka Aboriginal Corporation were the proud recipients of the:- John Oxley Library Community History Award back in 2022, as part of the SLQ Queensland Memory Awards!
This award was particularly special to us as it recognised our commitment to the protection and preservation of the Channel Country region and its community, a commitment that we have made since time immemorial.
